ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hello, Medha here! I'm a fashion designer and illustrator from Chennai, India. With a degree in economics, I dove into the world of fashion and art having dabbled in different forms of traditional art from as long as I could possibly remember. Studying fashion design at Istituto Marangoni, Milan and being exposed to such a rich, creative environment shaped my interests and goals in the design industry. I started Art By Medha Easwar in 2019 during a phase of unemployment while trying to find my place in the fashion industry. Taking inspirations from my own childhood, the places I've travelled to and experiencing different cultures and environments, I create art with the purpose of illustrating life in all its simplicity. In life and in my art, a lot of significance is placed on slow living.
